Hewitt Trucking is a small, family owned and operated, long-haul trucking company. With over 50 years of trucking experience, we offer superior transportation and logistics services. A trucking company with a quality reputation built on trust and reliability. We provide a knowledgeable staff and state-of-the-art maintenance facility. Operating in 48 states and Canada, with our most common areas including South-Eastern, the Midwest and Northern regions.​
Company History
It all started with a single vision and a single truck. Jan Hewitt, born and raised in Rodney, Iowa, began Hewitt Trucking in 1968. A man who enjoys meeting new people and seeing the country, started hauling grain and livestock to fulfill his dream. Jan believes that if you enjoy your job and what you are doing, you will do well at it. And this has proven to be very true, as over the years he has continued to grow the business into a company operating with 35 trucks and growing.
In 1997, his 5 children joined ownership of the company and four of them manage and run the business today. Currently Hewitt Trucking operates 25 trucks and has contracts with 12 owner-operators.
